1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CardViva (“the Service”), operated by CardViva (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CardViva is an event management platform that provides digital invitations, seating chart management, guest RSVP tracking, and gift registry features. The Service is available via the web at cardviva.com.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

CardViva offers a free plan for events with up to 30 guests. Paid plans are available for larger events and additional features. Pricing is listed on our Pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to CardViva, including floor plans, images, guest lists, and custom invitation designs. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the Service. We do not sell or share your content with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Payments and Gifts

Cash gifts sent through the platform are processed by Stripe. CardViva charges a service fee (displayed at the time of transaction). We are not responsible for disputes between gift senders and recipients. Event hosts are responsible for any applicable tax obligations related to gifts received.

8. Intellectual Property

All CardViva branding, design templates, and platform code are owned by CardViva and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardViva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
